Ok, as far as i know this only applies to 1'st and 2nd gen owners and sedans only. I recently checked the breather system in the boot and to my surprise the whole well was full of water . ...which meant that the breather wasn't working propperly. I drained all the water and found some surface rust had formed . After sanding the rust and giving a quick coat of primer, i blocked the drain plug in with silicon and closed off the breather intake. (figured that if no water could get in, why leave a path out) So... justt a quick warning if you want to check your own boot out. I think the 1'st gens have 1 breather hose on either side of the boot, and the 2'nd gens have the left side fitted with the breather.

Well, I cheacked the breathers in my TS and noticed that the left one was actualy covered in silicon. so maybe its a common problem.
